A winebota is a traditional leather wine pouch from Spain. The true art of the winebota dates back to Spain to the 1800s. A man named Don Julián Blasco became the pioneer craftsman and the most renowned artisan of his time. More than a century later his family —now lead by Jesús Blasco— still continues to make the winebotas that we sell following their family's artisanal processes and standards.
Our winebotas are latex lined and maintenance free. They can be filled with wines, all types of liquors, beer and mixed drinks. The best part is you can fit a whole bottle of wine in them. The winebotas we sell are made of 100% leather fully handmade in Spain and made of the highest quality materials to provide a lifetime of use with proper care.
100% suede made of goatskin or leather made of calfskin, organically tanned, hand cut and hand sewn in Spain.
100% Tear-resistant leather, organically tanned and designed to provide comfort and resistance to wear and tear.
The Nozzle and Cap
Two-piece bakelite screw-in mouth piece and cap. Conformed of two pieces, the mouth piece serves as a nozzle to dispense the beverage and it is fitted with a bell-shaped top cap to prevent spills.
The Neck Collar
Following the tradition, the neck of the winebota is covered with a collar made of leather or red rubberized plastic. These collar prevents the nozzle and liner from coming out of the perfectly sewn winebota.
All of our winebotas are carefully screen printed to guarantee that the ink won't rub off or come off over time. The more you use your winebota, the more character and patina it will build over time.
Caution: This product is lined with natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions, especially to those with known latex allergies.
